Grado is idyllically situated in a lagoon at the northern end of the Adriatic. Despite its picturesque location, it is easily accessible thanks to excellent transport connections. The town is linked to the mainland by several roads, making it reachable by car, train, bus, or bicycle. The nearest airports are Verona, Trieste, and Venice.
