Grado is all about families!
The beaches are child-friendly, with entertainment, basketball and soccer courts, skateboard parks, and water sports abound, including paddle boarding, swimming, and sailing. There is a thermal water park with pools and slides facing the sea, and plenty of citywide parks and playgrounds.

A portion of Grado is exclusively reserved for pedestrians. The pine-shaded Parco delle Rose is perfect for a walk or family picnic, the numerous bicycle paths an open-air option to explore the laguna and shoreline. For dog lovers, there are several dog beaches to welcome four-legged friends.
